Well I have just recovered from the Pre reunion drinks, the reunion night, the post reunion BBQ followed by the birthday drinks for Uncle Billy, Carmel and Karl Swan the following Saturday. The kids thing their Grandparents are now raising them. Great to see you all and I have the savings fund set up for Austriala in 2009.

Michelle your not the last to find out about everything it must be me because i was only just told about this website but i think it's great!
We can finally all keep in touch. Well what can i say about our trip and the reunion that hasn't already been said. I had the best time ever, will never forget it and can't wait for the next one where hopefully our Aussie clan can take part in it and see for themselves how big their family is. Hope everyone is well, it was great to meet you all. I have had the video i made put on disc and will make some copies to sen over to you all if anyone would like a copy. It's great to see everyone on it and the shots of the family on the stage are amazing (it's huge) and yes the SPOONS and all the other game people singing are also on there. Even mine, Essie's, Caroline and Mick's 6am stroll back to our unit on the beach is on their, needless to say the quality of the video at this stage was quite ordinary. Anyway great to be in touch and looking forward to keeping it that way. |

Grandad (Billy) had a wonderful time and came home with some fantastic tales and memories.

Hello everyone.
Ditto everything above about the reunion. I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I now need to update the Family Tree for the "2008 edition"! I plan to put the updated version onto this website (Brian, I may need your help on this). Hopefully you will all be able to access it and save it to disk so that if you need to get another copy printed copy you can. The paper size is A0 and any good printers should be able to do this for you. This update won't happen until Christmas time though. Before then and in the meantime, I need a favour. I'm trying to put together an album and need as many good photographs as I can get my hands on. Could you please email say, your best two to me at the same email address you used for the Family Tree. Also, if your picture is missing from the tree, please forward one to me and I'll include it in the 2008 release! Please help if you can. |
